Stirred by the unexpected feeling of gurbet -being far from home- an immigrant filmmaker traces its path. The film weaves together migrant and refugee journeys as they map their Glasgow through loss, connection, and belonging. Commissioned by Scottish Refugee Council and Creative Scotland, the film opened Refugee Festival Scotland 2025.

Finding the spirit of Galoshans - 2024

This short community doc explores Galoshans, a Scottish tradition still alive in Inverclyde. It follows a voice searching for a lost spirit through remembering, reimagining, and recreating, blending childhood memories with oral history to show how tradition shapes identity and lives on today. Commissioned by Rig Arts.

A dance artist befriends a group of elderly women and discovers the transformative power of social dance and movement in combating loneliness and isolation while confronting the difficult realities of aging and mortality. This work was commissioned by Govanhill Baths Culture Collective.
